Is that your final offer?
A couple of folks sent me links to this, a "minimum" offer posted on the Mateel website that apparently will be running in some paper or other this week.
Note: If you have trouble reading the small type, click on the image and it will enlarge (just the image, not the offer).

So this means if PP doesn't follow the MCC's demands there will be no festival this year? since the planning comission declared no festival if the parties don't come together. Guess the Mateel had a bigger trump card.
The 2006 festival brought in 3.8 gross. Even with reduced numbers the gross should be enough for honest people to turn a profit. PP and TD should take it and run with it.
you guys are unbelievable... this so called minimum offer is pretty much the same offer that tom dimmick presented to the mateel almost a month ago. You tell tom and pp to take the offer...why didn't the mateel take the offer the first time???? Also, they're minimum requirements are a bit vague, don't you think..."same as what a bank would want" Don't they realize that this is a concert, not a land deal...A guarantee in the concert business simply means that the money comes off the top, not the bottom...The mateel immplys here that tom should lose his land if the show doesn't turn a profit...please....let's all get real here..."a return of the hundreds of thousands of dollars" again, is that $300K or $900K. Also, it really makes no sense to me why this should have even been posted on the blog. If they are truly trying to negotiate a deal, shouldn't that be done in private and then announce the fact that a deal has been reached....again, not sure of the mateel's motives here, but I guess time will tell. I hope it all gets worked out....very sad!!!!

I can't say why the Mateel wants this public at this point, but if you read the line at the bottom you'll see that this is an advertisement intended for some newspaper, not something cooked up for the blogs.

After the planning commission meeting TD withdrew their offers talking about how the festival was worth less
